In this session, we'll explore Canva's user-friendly tools, allowing you to design visually appealing presentations, handouts, games, and student projects. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, leaving with practical strategies to enhance creativity in the classroom. Canva can be used by not just you, but the students too! We will discuss and demonstrate some strategies of how you can integrate this tool into your class! We will cover the basics of using the AI image generator, basics of the tool functions, how to export the files into various platforms, how to upload your own graphics/content, and how to link it into your canvas. Bring your device and your ideas!

In this session, you’ll get started with iPad and learn how to personalize it for your needs. You’ll also discover new ways to bring your lessons to life with built in apps and features. We’ll also explore helpful resources (Education Community) for teaching and learning with iPad.

Teachers will learn how to create a NearPod using NearPod or Google Slides. We will explore some of the various tools and features that NearPod can offer to students. Teachers will have examples of how to apply these resources to their classroom lessons. In this session, teachers and presenters will brainstorm ways that NearPod can support their HIT Strategy. Finally teachers will be given time and guidance to explore and search the NearPod library for resources.
